Claim form:
The claim form may be lodged directly, by post or by any other means of communication such as fax or e-mail, as far as this is acceptable to the Member State in which the procedure is commenced. Information on acceptable means per Member State is made available on the European e-justice portal by clicking on the Member State where the form should be submitted:

This website also provides information on the language in which the form should be submitted. Rules on language are laid down in Article 6 ESCP. In principle, the claim form, response, counterclaim, response to a counterclaim and any description of relevant supporting documents shall be submitted in the language or one of the languages of the court. The court may require a translation of supporting documents only if this appears necessary for giving the judgment.
