This e-presentation puts EU State aid control in a global context and views it comparatively against the WTO rules for subsidies. The examples of the EU-Korean Free Trade Agreement, the TTIP and the EU‐Ukraine Association Agreement are employed to showcase how State aid rules are used in negotiating and concluding agreements with the EU’s trade partners.
