In this e-presentation, the author gives an overview of the arguments developed by the European Commission in its 2008 decision against CISAC for infringement of Article 101 TFEU. The reasons why the General Court subsequently overturned key aspects of the Commission decision on appeal are then explained, as well as the implication of this judgement for cross-boarder right management of online music.
