Data protection and border management within the context of data exchange and interoperability: ensuring that the two remain aligned

This e-presentation will focus on the different data protection concerns arising from the interoperability the European Union aims to achieve in the field of border management. The presentation will give a a brief overview of how the fully implemented interoperability will function, and then it will present the most relevant data protection concerns, with special emphasis on the General Data Protection Regulation and the Directive (EU) 2016/680.
